On Garden "Art"

In my town we have a recycling center.  

One of the dangers of going to the recycling center is that you often come away with more than you left there.  As some one who likes to make things and  has a passion for recycling this happens to my quite often.  

Many of the treasures I find at the recycling center, I use to make things for my garden.  Today, I would like to share with you some of my creations.

We found this metal door at the recycling center and interestingly it was the same as the one we had on our back door.  With the intention of using it on our front door we brought it home.  After it sat in the garage for close to 20 years I realized it was never going to get on the front door. I needed a new trellis for the clematis so I painted it yellow (much to my family's chagrin)  and here it is.

I love the new solar lights you can get for the garden and there are so many ways you can make them interesting.

This poor fellow was left there but I though he could hold a light.

I'm not sure what this was originally for but now it hold a plant and lights.

My most favorite things to bring home from the recycling center are lamps.  The great thing about lamps is that most of the parts are interchangeable.  You can unscrew the pieces and put the back together in new ways.

When you add in the solar lights, they become lamps again.
